quick upper control arm ??

just purchased this. i have an 87. says it will only fit 89+. i looked through model year changes and it said nothing about suspension upgrades/changes aside from newer struts.

anyone know whats up?

According to the info I have available to me at work, they should be the same. All of the OE part numbers I could cross reference showed the same ones for all MKIII production years

sweet. well i guess ebay is the way to go. $78 for a brand new control arm... all auto stores said they are over $200.
