the thing is that it's actually pretty quick. The car has been gutted and I have the turbo back exhaust but Ican't wait for the 1jzgte
Aren't too many fast cars in Winterpeg so I'll own the streets lol

I expect that while the top end is about the same it would be quicker than the 7M-GE. Have you driven a N/A MA70? How's it compare?

this is the only Supra I have driven
I would love to be able to compare it though
I am actually very inexperienced as I'm only getting my license on Wednesday (as long as everything goes well)
can't wait for summer so that I can take the Supra back out

okay so my speedometer only goes up to 180km/h and I've pushed it further
i want to put a new speedometer in so that I can actually see what the engine tops out at. lol
what kind of work goes into doing this?

Straight swap, just swap in one from another Supra and you're good.

but would i need to like calibrate the sppedometer or something?

cre 01-29-2010 07:55 AM

No. Toyota has only ever used two ratios for their mechanical speedometers (I'm pretty sure it was only two... might have only been one) and the MKIII is the same across the board.
