Default need help with a 1989 supraaa

I got a 1989 supra non turbo its got a skip when I change the distributor cap it goes away then when it gets wet it skips again any ideass??

You washing the engine bay with a pressure washer or what? Any signs of moisture in the cap or on the rotor?

Haha funny ummmm I just got the car I'm 20 man so bear with me just moved from a prelude to thiss but ya it seems like its coroding up I got boxs of parts with the car when I bought it and the guy had tryd ventd and non ventd caps... that was the only though I had to try any ideas??

Well, I'd start with a Toyota cap and then replace the big O-ring. Are you hosing out the engine bay? (bad idea if you are)
