Post smoking / overheat

i have a 89 n/a supra fix the head on it over a year ago. two days ago was seeing a lot of white smoke out the back, under the hood and under the car. i have found and area on the passenger side next to the down pipe. of where it may be. but the strange thing is tonight i started it not really any smoke until 10 mins of running and a puddle of antifreeze under the car right near the cat. so if anyone can help me with this like asap it would mean alot to me thank u i will be back on Dec 14 2009

Have you been making sure to keep the coolant system full?

There are only a couple places where it is likely to be coming from if it's pouring down the exhaust and they're all right in front of the fire wall on the passenger side. On the up side, they're not all terrible to get to, on the down side, there is one 90? hose behind the head which is miserable. Hopefully it'll be one of the heater hoses, a crack in the heater control valve or the rubber plug on the metal pipe which peaks out from behind the engine. The Head gasket is a possibility, but I think a hose is more likely.

If you can't spot the source of the leak by hand or feel then go get a pressure tester and have at it.

I agree, the right cap ruptured on mine. It was doing the exact same thing... EXCEPT, I accidentally blew the HG and had to spend over 1 grand fixing it... and it still ruined some stuff that I haven't gotten around to fixing. So check the heater hoses and stuff. It'll save you time and money!!
