I strongly agree because the air box is still using the air from under the hood where as the cold air intake is able a much greater volume of air at once with restriction and many put a heat shield near the shield along with engine exhaust insultion. Also, if it wasnt effective then why would almost mechanic recommemd it?

Even with an insulated exhaust the engine bay temps will always be higher than outside. The block, transmission, clutch, A/C compressor, P/S pump all release heat into it.

Lmao im lik twitch from south park...no honestly i completly messed that up but yes your right i guess your best bet is to ride without a hood lol
