Default CT26 Wastegate Actuator

Ok, well apparently I can't find this actuator.

I bought this one not knowing that it needed that one.

Is the 2nd one the new version of the first one? or what?
Anyone know where I can buy the 1st one?

The CT-26 was used in a few different Toyota vehicles including the MR2, Supra and Land Cruiser... The first one didn't look like a MKIII waste gate actuator to me to begin with and that was mentioned by another member in your thread.

The second one does look like a MKIII actuator, but you really don't know from just looks. I don't know of anyone who sell; Toyota doesn't sells OEM replacements. I know of venders who sell high end actuators that work with it with a custom adapter plate, but they generally run over $150... I think closer to $200.

Addendum to what I PM'd to you:

Here, I found you a relatively inexpensive universal... you just need to figure out how the heck to mount it: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/part.../Internal/2989 Then you'll need to take the turbo and wastegate to a shop (unless they have a CT-26 lying around; I doubt that'll be the case ) and have a mounting plate fabricated.

If your budget is tight, you only need a stock actuator and if you want a brand new actuator, I'd buy the one you found first and have it either modified or get an adapter plate built and the actuator arm modified... it'll be cheaper than buying the Turbonetics AND getting a plate built for it.
