I've never experimented with swapping gauges just to see what happens when the wrong one is used, I do know that people generally report very odd behavior on top of the fact that it is a mile off when it does move.

so i just swaped out the gauge circuitry from the gte tach to the ge tach so its a ge tach with the gte circuitry and wouldnt you know it...
it works ![]() thank you for the help. i would have never knon that the resistors and such are different. thank you for the help in solving the problem ![]()
