If it helps clarify for anyone, I believe they're talking about window louvers (or however you spell it). I've seen them once before on a MKIII, I think they were a custom job.
In any case, they looked kind of cool on the car, just depends on what you're going for. The one I saw was a kind of blast-from-the-past 80's car, complete with digi dash, louvers, AM/FM/Tape radio, etc... But I would do some searching. I've been told that the MKII louvers can be modified slightly to work on a MKIII. Might wanna look into that. Picture shows some louvers on a 86 corolla for reference.
