I have the same thing. When I start the car I hear a little bit of rod knocking just for a quick second. As I rev the engine to about 2500-3000 rpms I hear a high speed fluttering sound that seems too quiet to be knocking. I went and had it diagnosed and they said that it could be the seals but the engine probably needs to be rebuilt. I hope it's not the case but that's what I've come to.
