Mostly Its because of Spark thats cutting of your engine, I would recommend you checking out the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor.

check for boost leak...had that problem when one of my intercooler coupler blew off

this is an old thread.. but w.e lol. I think that your car is in "fail safe mode" Reasons for this could be bad afm, loose,dirty afm connector, boost leak or intake leak. fail safe mode is when ur ecu senses somethings wrong and limits the car to about 3k rpm.... for example an intake leak... unmetered air coming in.. ecu senses somethings up... and puts it in the mode so that you can still drive it to a mechanic without blowing up ur engine.
i suggest pulling codes |

There are no fault codes happens 99% of the time Sometimes it is ok If I keep my foot down it will push though it slowly |
