Default Need some help!

I converted my auto 7mge, to a 7mgte 5speed, Well the problem is that I noticed that I cannot find the clutch switch connector in the wiring anywhere. Does anyone know if/why there is no connector? I thought the car harnesses were all the same. Also if someone knows where it is, could they tell me that, thanks.

From what I read in the other forums...I believe that the wiring harnesses are different.

I'm not talking about the engine harness, the car harness. If that's what you were thinking.

Are you referencing this? Inside the where the clutch goes...it should be around where the fuse box is and might even be taped up.

Cool

I would look under the dash in the mess of wires to see if you can find the other end of it; also try looking on the side where the fuse box is. I sure that the wire would be under the dash some where. The CSS is used for your cruise control if it's not hooked in your just not goining to be able to engage your cruise control.

Yeah I ripped the Cruise control out about two years ago, it was broke anyways. Which one is the connector for the cruise control? thanks

They both are for the cruise control. What happens is that when you press the clutch it detects that the clutch is being pressed and turns off the cruise control. And the other detects when the clutch is in it's normal position (not pressed) and it allows you to turn on the cruise control. The CSS is the one in the back of the clutch. Hope this helped you out some what

Wait a minute, to start the car the computer needs to know that the clutch is pressed in, so if these are both for the cruise control...I'm lost lol...

My apologies, I ment the one that's in the back is for the cruise control and the other one in front is the one that you need to have connected.
