The shell and new transmission would probably be the best if you have money for a engine. But be sure the transmission is new or a warranty. I had a friend buy a camero with the 6 speed viper transmission suppose to be new, but was rebuilt, the bad part was it was rebuilt by a back yard mechanic. The transmission blew out on him in the first month. So be sure the transmission has a warranty.
