Default over heating HG ?

hi just bought a supra turbo mk3 and ive changed the water pump but it still over heats no oil in water vica versa and none out the back engine sweet n ticks over fine i removed the thermostat no luck there the temp gaue hit the roof tho but engine didnt skip a beat n i couldnt hear any bubbling from the front could some one please shed some light cheers gavin

If its overheating, you should probably STOP driving it, Japanese cars HATE getting hot, your head will probably look like a waffle.

let it idle, take off the radiator cap and see if bubbles start coming up, its most likely a blown head, check your temp sensor first.

But jesus christ, stop driving the poor thing until you sort it out.

all sorted it was a blockage in the heater matrix runs a1 and stays cool

hi i was reading ur post and i have the same problom howd u find out it was heater matrix and what u do to fix it

hi i took the hose off going into tohe matrix and used a hose from the tap on it and left it running till the water came through clear and fast

You may still may have a problem with that in the summer, when you select the cold setting on the heater control; this operates a control valve on the bulkhead. (near the ABS unit on UK models) this shuts off any coolant going into the heater matrix. The coolant is then diverted back around the system from the pipe union at the rear of the head, which is the same as the heater matrix becoming blocked.

i also changed the water pump which was leaking too
