i used cometic. but does that website have an actual picture of the gasket? because it looked to me like an assortment of gaskets and stuff just thrown together to make it look like it was worth buying. the way i see it, you cant go wrong with an oem head gasket from the dealership...

Part of the reason you're not getting any help is because you asked if we've used those particular gaskets. I know I'm not going to take the time to reply just to say "no, I haven't". From what I can tell, it seems that most of the people on this forum run an OEM gasket or prep the head and block and go with a name brand metal head gasket.
The downside to eBay gasket kits is that, as you know, you can't tell if they're quality or not. The pictures suck, the descriptions suck, and the seller just doesn't usually put any effort into the listing. What does this tell me? The item probably sucks. IMO, you're better off buying your gaskets from the dealer (recommended) or an auto parts store; somewhere you can inspect the gasket and it's material. Hope this helps you out some.
