Quint is on a distinguished road
Default 1G-GTE Turbo and management Interchange.

I've looked pretty far and wide over the net for this information and i've yet to get a definite response, was hoping you lads would be able to help me out.

I'll start with the story (skip this part if you don't give a shit )
-----------------STORY---------------------
Had my GA70 1G-GTE for about 5 years now, thrashed the shit out of it, converted it to manual, have had minimal problems with it, used it as a daily driver and i've added 60,000km to the clock.
Anyway, finally the noise in the engine went from the tappet click, to the cracking sound of a serious fault. Stripped her down and found a cam lobe that had worn erratically dishing one of the shims which eventually popped out causing the cam to slap onto the bucket, luckily, nothing major was damaged. However, on inspecting the turbos etc, i've decided its prime time to rebuild the faithful old cow.
----------------STORY END-----------------

Wanting to upgrade the turbos from the Gen1 turbos to the Gen3, as the gen3s have larger wheels etc. As i understand, there will be no problem here, though while i'm replacing them i want to arrange the turbos for better flow, i've seen this done before, but can't remember the details/benefits.

Basically consists of the turbos being arranged so they both face in the same direction and slightly kicked out (30 degrees facing away from the head) with the front 3 cys providing for the front turbo and the back 3 cyls for the back turbo, has anyone else seen this done? seen the benefits? knows the gist of what i'm wanting to do? can do the design myself (solidworks) once i fully understand the plumbing situation and from there can easily fabricate it myself. Hints here would be GREATLY appreciated.

secondly, of course with better turbos comes the desire to run higher boost, we all know that the gen1 injectors fuck out fairly early in that department, so was wanting to also convert to pale green injectors from the gen 3 (275cc i believe?) and the gen 3 ECU, what kind of teething issues would i experiance with this? I'm guessing that the solinoid/ingnitor pack would be the first major issue, followed by 'do they actually plug in'.

And no, i'm not interested in swapping in a 7M

<3 my 1G!
