On the right side wheel well in the engine bay check to make sure the fuel pump relay is plugged in correctly.

It may also be any of many sensors, check the codes, check the TSRM on how to do check them.

A dealer may check your codes for free but I guarantee they will try to get you to let them work on it.

Good luck.

daluxsrt4, get a Haynes book for less than $20, and i has the instructions to short two terminals on the diagnostic connector under the hood to blink the trouble codes on the check engine light.

FWIW, it sounds like it is starving for gas. This could be a bad filter, regulator, pump, or clogged injectors. Of course, it is hard to diagnose from a forum post. Good Luck!

pulled the plugs tonight and changed em. the plugs were totally trashed. while pulling the second to first wires out the electrode pulled outta the wire. i left that wire unplugged and drove around and it did the same thing with it unplugged. gonna grab some new wires and see if it fixes it.

Thumbs up Advice for all

You MUST read all the threads in the FAQs section to learn about your car. It sounds like you want to work on it yourself, so educate yourself.

When you just ask for info, the answers you get may be WRONG. Then you may follow that advice, and PAY $$ for doing what a NON educated writer has offered.

READ the FAQ section, and all the sticky threads in each section before touching a tool.
