??
how do i used that??

Sounds like your tranny is slipping, check your tranny fluid. If its low, put some fluid in it, if its full then the clutches in the tranny or the torque converter may be faulty.

Good luck.

Used that? .... Not sure what you mean

Follow the instructions in the link for the self diagnostic instructions

The best bet you have is to talk to a "mechanic" at a tranny shop and see if they say its the torque converter or the tranny it self. Then drop your tranny yourself, that way you save a boat load of money then just take the tranny to get a rebuild or get a new torque converter and put it back in.

Even if you have the shop drop the tranny for you make sure to print out the section of the TSRM that contains auto tranny drop, rebuild, install, and give that to the people doing the work, that way if there is somthing they havent seen before they can get it done without hurting anything.

Good luck.

You are not going to fine a tranny shop open on sunday..
Make sure you go to a very reputable shop... not some half assed garage that says they rebuild transmissions to.. Needs to be a specilized shop that does only transmissions... IMHO..

and price wise.. Umm off top of my head.. if its slipping.. and needs total rebuild..
1200 up to 2000.....

if somone tells you they will do it for 400 or so..it prob wont last..

Yea I second everything said here, going to some crackerjack shop will guarantee future visits to another shop. I would check out the yellow pages for tranny shops in your area, give a few of them a call. Ask them if they have done Toyota transmissions before, and for quotes on rebuilds.

Good luck.
