Exclamation 1989 MKIII Build...Wish me Luck and HELP!!

Well I finally did it! I found what I thought to be a great deal on a supra turbo to get away from years of building turbo civics Then I put the money (800.00) in the girls hand she gives me title and Key we load up on the trailer and then I find the list of stuff she omitted from the purchase conversation. Mind you I only had 30 mins at most to look at the car due to my job so I sorta blame myself but anyway she's here and well fellas heres the list of things that she stated were wrong and my solutions or lack there of.

(1)5 out of 6 cylinders low compression 4 under 100 - 1jzgte swap in 2 weeks yes I have the bell housing, will get the electro fans, have the correct mounts and may need help with the 3 wires on the interior and the one in the engine bay from my research. still debating going single turbo before I put her in as I heard its a bitch to do after its installed someone referred to needing ky to get it in I was like okaayyyy.

(2)engine wiring needs attention wires are missing or in the wrong place!!!! hopefully this will be addressed with the above swap

(3)targa top was sealed with epoxy...no idea why she just didnt replace the molding

(4) Coolant leak somewhere! go figure see number 1

(5)Removed the e-brake because she didnt have the money to fix it so she took the springs out? I will seriously need help on this I can do the work just don't know the system just need a heads up on it cable is still there so should be a easy fix.

(6) driver side door cant be locked/unlocked from outside jack up someone tried to break in....I will need help with this.

(7) heater core blew out! um ok no clue where it is or how to get to it. I assume its behind the dash so might need help or info on how to remove that to get to it...its easy on a civic as I've done it before but again no clue on the supra.

(8) body issues as you can see from the pics shes in need of some major work. I can do alot of it well some if it and im going to make an attempt to get her at least to primer state with all the rust repair/replacement.

That about sums it up. I know this is long but well I figured I would get it all out at once and go from there. This is obviously not going to be an overnight project and I know I have alot of work in front of me but I think it will be worth the effort. I planned on doing this to a mustang as a project from the start but ran across this one sitting in a field (spiders, ants, and other various bugs to prove it) and I was hoping that the supra community much like my civic community would be willing to share thier knowledge as a whole to help a fellow/new supra owner to get up and running. If I have been a newb in the supra community in anyway please feel free to give constructive criticism now with that being said please have a geniune response to my ignorance that would be just that......constructive. I want to thank all who have looked at the post and to those that will lend a hand in advance.

Wish me LUCK

Default Rebuild issues

I was searching thru the MKIII forum for a solution to the gurgling sound I hear upon start up and initial acceleration. Looks like I need to burp my coolant system.

Anyway, back to your post. I noticed you had no replies. I suggest you do a search in the MKIII forum for a specific problem and see what threads come up. Then, if you can narrow down to a few problems try to re-post and see if you get some answers. I have found the forum has a ton of info if you are persistent. Good Luck!
