Default Oil inside CPS.

Is this likely caused by a worn o ring or something.
I've yanked the sucker out, and I don't see one.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dig deeper the shaft that inserts into the head has a seal inside the dizzy.

You have to remove some things and drill some bolts to remove the gearing at the end of the shaft to remove it from the dizzy.

Once it's out you can see the gasket on the inside. This can be done by you but requires surgical precision which may not be obtained in many the back yard garage, without precaution.

I have never done this to my car.

So This may not be 100%.

I believe the gear has to come off from what I have read to get the shaft removed from the dizzy. That seal is a wear item.

Someone was saying you can get an entire beck arnley dizzy for like 50$ from autozone. I don't know because I don't use that supplier. Point of fact. AZ is the last place I check and only in times of dire straights.

Glad I could help. Hope this helps.

I bought it, and the company, and the parts they sell, is top notch.
