I am looking at a 1990 Supra with a 7mgte. This car runs great, purrs like a kitten, at startup.
This continues until the car warms up. As soon as the temp gauge starts to move a knock developes. It doesnt sound like it is in the head, but rather high in the bottom end. I am thinking wrist pin but want some other opinions. I can get the vehicle at a decent price, but I dont want to pour thousands into getting it to run. Hopefully you guys can help me out. I can do all the work myself (minus and machining) so that will save some cost. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated! |
