What about water from the road though when it rains? Would it get into the intake? Someone told me they had that problem on their honda.

I haven't met anyone who's had it happen, but yeah, if you live in a very rainy environment or a swamp, you may want to think twice... in those cases build a fiberglass box around the filter and have that pull air in from where the stock filter did.

My filter isn't directly behind the fog light though... it sits right above it, more behind the bumper than anything.

Thats the main reason why I dont want to put my intake down by the fog light. I dont fell like hydrolocking my engine like my brother did, but he drove his neon into a mini lake . So im just gonna put it where the stock one is and maybe build a box around it.
I just bought the intake and adapter in the link above so I hope it fits good when I get it. If not ill just have to ghetto rig it

You'd be surprised what you could fix with the standard schmaz from lowes.

I'm not sure about that.
What I'm sure about is how many times i kept my supra on the road with crap from lowes. None of which was permanent mind you.

Only band aids. But there are permanent solutions to be had for you macguyver types.
