Ok, I have a 87' N/A and I was thinking of getting an intake just like the one in this video
YouTube - MKIII SUPRA 7M-GE Engine In the comments the guy said he used a short ram civic intake, but never mentioned what year. So I was wondering if anyone here has done this? Will this intake work?: eBay Motors: SHORT RAM INTAKE for 92-94 95 HONDA CIVIC 93-97 DEL SOL (item 380015208803 end time Apr-11-08 20:36:42 PDT) And, I believe I will need this MAF Adapter right? eBay Motors: 86-92 Toyota Supra N/A Air Intake Mass Air Flow Adapter (item 180231658776 end time Apr-15-08 18:26:53 PDT) Srry for all the question I just dont feel like spending $40 on a civic intake I dont need. |

Do yourself a favor, if you do want to go with a setup like that, either build a box around the air filter or run longer pipe and put the air filter behind the fog light. It makes a huge difference in air temps.

Just trust me on this, make sure to get the filter air from outside of the engine bay.
I used a complete Civic CAI for my old setup: http://www.fadingworld.com/Supra/7MGEfromDS.jpg For my new one (no MAF) I had to add some more piping. |
