Default 89 7mg to 2jz turbo manual

First I would like to say hi im new here obviously. I did do a search on this particular build and already found some info. However, I do have some further questions regarding this particular build.

As the title says thats what I am looking to do. My idea is to buy a jdm already assembled 2jz turbo engine with the ecu and comeplete wire harness with the 6sp tranny already connected to it.

My questions are 1) does anyone know of anyone here who has done such a thing and if so can you point me to them 2)is there anything that I should know about this swap like any custom modifications needed? 3)and if anyone knows of any places I could get misc parts from for the manual conversion that would be cool

So far I have the following info from suprra grl via the sticky. I need the following parts for the manual swap (mind you the sticky was about a 7mg conversion to manual).

clutch pedal, brake pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, manual driveshafts for the 2jz tranny, shifter assembly, clutch kit/flywheel, clutch line between master and slave cylinder

If I am missing anything else please let me know thank you in advance

The biggest thing for you to ponder is the fact of how large a gamble it is to use a jdm engine without rebuilding it 1st.

Skipping this process all but insures that you will be rebuilding in much more difficult fashion than had you done before use.

Don't become one of those dudes, dude.
