Default Coolant Leak

I recently acquired from my father in law, (for free), an 1986.5 Supra. It has 98,000 miles and everything works but the AC which I don't care about. The car has never seen winter and is completely rust free. The problem I have noticed is collant leaking out from under the car and hitting the converter. It is a small leak but none the less a leak. From under the hood I can see no sign of a leak. Where is the obvoius spot to begin looking. Shoud I get it up on ramps and look from below.

Many ways to tackle this mr. springsteen.

Here's what I'd do.

Proceed to an automatic car wash. Fervently get the under carriage clean. Spend some coin here.

Top everything off nicely right there, johnny on the spot.

Go for a drive. Take it home put it on ramps and crawl under, over and inside of that thing until you can tell where you're leaking from. If it's nasty still on top after washing then you know its a top side leak.

Coolant lines hold pressure. Sometimes simply squeezing one can aid in your leak location and or detection.

Aside from that. Drive no where without tools dist. water and coolant and a funnel. You could just have a loose clamp.

Get rid of all those 20 year old stocker hose clamps and worm clamp that bitch down tight. Especially if you replace hoses. Because those new toyo hoses are slippery when wet.
