is this a 5 speed or an auto? Cause chances are you are binding on the input shaft, or you havent disconnected everything. Have you disconnected the torque converter from the fly wheel? If you have a 5 speed have you disconnected the slave cylinder, and the throw out bearing fork? Im assuming you have an auto though. Make sure that you have all the bolts for the torque converter free. And make sure u use a trans jack too. and keep the angle right. Make sure your exhaust is out of the way, and there are no hangers that the tranny can hit on either. Without being there though im only taking shots in the dark.
Ps never pry against your flywheel or your going to break it. If you are going to pry do it against the block!!! And please tell me you took the starter out too. |
