one thing i forgot to mention is the pins in my old TPS where loose and would jiggle aournd very easily.
On some TPS the internals are plastis and could be busted, pull it off and check it out..... As far as the idle goes check out your throttle plate and make sure its closed fully some one messed with the screw on my throttle body and i had a 1k idle. Had to back out the screw some
