yes, it is easir, basically just a pull on and put on situation, however I would suggest if your going to put the K&N on is find a heat shield as putting on the K&N will pull the air filter into the engine compartment. You can actually make a heat shield but they are easy to find just google it. K&N doesnt make a full CAI intake for our cars, I had to actually go custom on mine. Went and had a pipe made that goes to just before where the stock air filter connects to the hole into the bumper and then put the K&N inside of the bumper, good air flow and protects it from water, rain etc.
