Default Rewired my knock sensors

In the guides it has you grounding out the wire on both ends, does this really help or is one ground on the intake penlum good?

One ground should cut it.

I did mine too, but i still get the error code, i guess i'm in for an expensive fix.

hopefully thats not the case for me, after looking at the connectors wire i would imagine that its definantly a bad connection. anyways ill find out tomorrow when i put my car back together and hook it up to the ecu

for some reason my plugs that where on the knock sensor already had teh back of it filled down so i didnt have to remove the starter... but where all beat up and had some of the wire exposed almost like it was pulled on too hard and came out a little bit....

Can you take a picture of that filed down work?
I just bought a set of two and i'm gonna be changing them when they arrive.

I've heard stories of creating extra joints in your arm to be able to reach them without removing the starter :-)

you just cut off the very back of the green plastic on one of the sensors, this allows you to put it on and take if off w/o removing the starter, if the ones on ur engine are not already like that u could probably just reach down there and cut off the back on the one thats on there..... just be carefull not to break the 250 dollar sensor lol
