Default wire harness question!!

hey this is prob. a really stupid question but this isnt for me its for my friend and im not sure of the answer either... but is the 7mgte wire harness for a manual. the same as a auto wire harnes thank you very much..

Nope, the harness for the auto has extra connectors, and is missing some other ones. I have a trashed manual one, and a decent auto one, but I don't think I can use the auto harness for the manual car without hacking them both up and splicing it back together, which seems like too much work. (removing auto wiring, adding reverse switch, etc...)

I know you can't use a manual harness on an auto car without major modification. (adding wiring and connnectors.)

I haven't looked at the ecu pinout to see if they are the same.
