okay, thats what i was reckoning too :)

So i guess im better off buying the "packages" not a front clip, the

ecu/wiring harness/engine/tranny

or should i get these seperately?

Ya and you should upgrade to a 6spd manual. It can't cost more than an extra 300/500 bucks.

Forget that front clip. That black lip spoiler on the front end is something like 250 bucks and it's toyota only.

Much better things to start with to get her running first.

What you need to be looking for is the entire front clip. And.......,
you need to be looking in canada I think for your best chance.

This way you get the entire thing. Ready to be stripped and rebuilt.
Other than that you'll have to piece it together.

It's like this dude. Parts on these cars....., spare no expense. If you think you're going to have to replace something just do it.

Spend the money. The car will pay for it self on the back side.

I have 10k into my 91 and have another 5k of shite to do.
I can never sell this car. I can only engine swap. And n/a ecu's are getting hard to find in the 7m series. Plenty of gte parts still to be found.

but if i get a clip from canada, won't that be a sh*tload for shipping?? I mean im down for doing what you said, but as long as I can get the complete package cheaper that I can in California (or USA for that matter)

And im thinking before I even think more about this swap, that I should sell my engine/tranny/ecu. And you said n/a ecu's are becmong scarce, maybe I can sell it for a fortune? :x:

You should be able to find the clip somewhere on the coast.
But it's going to have been sitting in salt water ridden air.
Bolts will just twist off. You should be able to piece it as well and probably get better parts.

You want to be choosey about those.

Concider all options and rule out no part. Get the best, cleanest parts you can find. I lived in Long Beach. I know you can get parts easier than me.

Because half the shite I order comes from cali and the other half chicago.

What's 3k for tranny upgrade???
It's going to cost that much to have it worked on if it shucks.

If I were going to swap trannies I would upgrade.
That's all I'm saying.
