does anyone know how to take out a speedo cable? i have the gauges out and it broke all the way down by the trany. i pulled the like 2 inches of broken cable out from the bottom and i cant pull it out from the top. do i need to buy a new housing for it then or no? if so how much will it all cost if i decide to have it done for me because i dont know how to put a new housing in.

I would get a whole new one, cable and sheath, as the inside of the sheath is worn too, and would likely cause the new cable to frey and break pretty quick.

These parts are made individually for each car. call your local Toyota dealer and order the speedo cable for your car.
