A Few Q's on Turbo Injectors

Hi all, the first question; Does anyone know what kind of electrical resistance is running on the turbo fuel injectors if any? Because in the TSRM it has says to test the turbo injectors with a resistor on from the power source. Second; Has anyone put stock turbo injectors in a NA? Thanks.

What do you plan on gaining from putting turbo injectors on an na supra? Im just curious.

Well I'm doing a NA-T and wondering about the resistance on the turbo injectors, becasue if they have a resistance on the turbo car, they would rock on the NA with no resistance.

O well i cant really help you lol i was just wondering, is it all that hard to do the na-t conversion?

you shouldn't have to worry about the resistor pack if you are going to put the turbo injectors on the n/a. the n/a's also have resistor packs wired into the hareness so its just plug and play, a direct drop in

Thats ok, I wouldn't call it a NA-T conversion, I'm still using all the NA parts, I'm just swapping out the bare minimum, such as injectors and possibly other fuel delivery systems, and just adding the turbo. But yea it can be pretty hard.

Sweet, that helps, but I have another question, is that resistor pack in the harness or is it in the ECU? I've been looking over the TSRM and haven't found any information on the resistance running to the injectors, so I haven't found where it its yet. Thanks.

its on the chasis by the driver strut tower, the fuel pump resistor pack is on the passanger strut tower

Is the location the same on both turbo and non-turbo cars? Thanks.

yep, they are located in the same spots. turbo or nonturbo

Ok, that works, thanks!
