No. A lot of people assume that because of the .5l less. But the jz actually puts more to the ground then 7m. But the 7m makes max torque 400 rpm sooner then 1j which is where the confusion starts Factory specs at crank, 1jzgte= 280 HP. At 6200 rpm 268 ft lbs. At 4800 rpm Now the factory way under estimated this motor. Mine 100% stock put down. At the WHEELS. 285 HP. 272 ft lbs 7mgte= 232 HP. At 5600 rpm. 240ft lbs at 4400 rpm
