Rotating mass, does that ring a bell?

I have ran like 4 sets of wheels on my car. The best wheels are 17". They just FEEL better going in and coming out of turns. The responsiveness is bounds better than the 18's and the ride is more plush, but not to the point of "smooth".

First wheels (Toms C7R) 17's:

Second set 18's (ebay special Sportmax):

Latest wheel (current) SSR Vienna Gluck 17's:

I will always recommend any kind of yokohama tires because i have never heard anybody have a negative remark about their tires. As for rims/wheels.. I like SSR wheels, they are expensive but they are some of the best on the market because most of their wheels are "lightweight" (under 20 pounds). Find them at www.tirerack.com also when they talk about rotating mass, they are absolutely correct. Your stock pulley on your 7M weighs 11 pounds.. the Unorthodox Racing pulley weighs about a pound. It will run about $200 from a store.. look for it on ebay. But reducing any weight on wheels or tires will make huge differences. Just remember that if you change your rim size that you might want to get your speedometer readjusted.. actually I'm not sure if you have to on Supras. Be sure to find out though.

Tell me how long your engine last before the vibrations from the balancer you pulled off. It's not worth the money. If you buy an underdrive pulley your taking off the dampener that keeps your engine from knocking or vibrating too much which will destroy your bearing. Only worth it if its a strictly race or drag car. Buy an underdrive that has a dampener on it... it's about 800 bucks though....

I just got an MK3 and want to put some new wheels on it.

Will 19's fit comfortably without any rub or sticking out too much?
The tires would be 225/35/19.

Any help is really appreciated. Thanks!
