You pretty much have to find a same year supra, for any electricals. The wiring changes in one way or another, every year, just about. Ignitors --- 82 = 1 year, 83 = 1 year, 84-6 interchange. Engine harness -- 82 = 1 year, 83 = 1 year, 84 = 1 year. 85/6 are the same.
