Default Headlights

I got in my 85 last night and used the headlight switch to trun the lights on. Lights went on then off i wiggled the switch a whole lot then they came back on. While going to other side of town they would go on and off finally they went out and stayed off. I tried to wiggle switch and no luck. Whats the problem? Bad Headlight switch or what becuase headlights still pop up and stay up. THanks

cant say i know how to fix your problem...but when you need them on and you get them on...turn your foglights on incase they short out...or whatever they are doing so you still have some lights...

try to look it up on the charge lamp relay...

it have a four terminal...

two terminal on the side... in vert. line... and
two terminal on the bottom... in horz. line...

take that one out and test it... if you know how... or went to pick-a-part or pick-a-part... and put in your pocket for free...

or you can go to your local napa auto part and asking for this part # AR571 and part line is ECH and its about $85-90 dollar...

but i'm sure its not that...

its somethign else... let me know alright...
