Hey,

I just got an 82 Supra Celica 2.8 6cyl. Its the fully loaded luxury version and I've got a few questions.
First off, both my AC and heater arent working. No air is coming out what so ever. Heater wise, what could it be? Anything from a fuse to a new blower motor to a new heater core? And as for the AC. How do i check that out and what am I looking at for costs? Also my FM radio doesnt work. Now I dont seem to have an antena and Im not sure where it goes. Does this model have an electric antena or is there an actually one that should be attached on the cars surface? Finally, there are 2 switches on the consol beside the shifter. The first one (farthest away from the dash) is for the Door Locks. As for the second one, im not totally sure what its for. Does anyone know???

Thanks

The other switch is for the fog lights (the 'headlights' that don't pop up). They will only activate when that switch is on AND you have high beam on.

I think this is right - corrections are welcome. (i'm a noob too)

Concerning your heater blower, a/c difficulty. I had an '85 celica when mine went. I have an '84 supra now and i think the heating system is near identical. On the celica it turned out to be a breaker located behind a plastic kick panel on the passengers side foot area in front of the door, under the dash. it was a two prong little breaker with a metel cap with a hole in the middle. I was told to simply reset the breaker by sticking a pin in the hole and pressing on a switch inside. This didn't work and toyota wanted $80 for a new one so i went to the wreckers and pulled one off another car for fifty cents and it workrd like a charm. The heater blower motor can be a little tricky to replace, try taking out the passenger side of the lower dash (glove box and below) for better access. You should't need to remove too much else but it will take a little wrestling to get it out.
