Sounds to me like a momentary power loss at the ECU if not the whole system. I'd start with checking the battery cables, grounds and fusible links.

still having this problem, started pulling tape off a ton of wired-in safc wires to the ecu, connected them better, taped back over. I would like a pin out for an 83 ecu if anyone can help with that it'd be awesome. any other ideas for me to partake before wasting all my money at a shop? the car isn't losing full power to the accessories when this happens, could it be timing? if so, what degree is it supposed to be lined up with? |
