My dad bought an 84 supra when it was brand new and abandoned it for 10 years in the back yard and i was hoping to get it to run again. what do i need to check just for it to run?

did it run before it was abandoned??

first
i would drop the tank and give it a good flush
also a new fuel filter would be good.

drain the engine oil and look for chunks of metal or antifreeze (cream)

hell, after you deal with your gas problem try turning it over whats the worst that could happen
