Default 1983 Supra Retractor Relay

I have a problem with my headlights not popping up and down anymore. Both of them just stopped working at the same time. I have been researching and found out that the problem may be with the retractor relay under the hood on the passenger's side by the nightlight. Then I researched that there is another part called the Retractor control box that is behind the dash. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the one under the hood and the blue control box behind the dash. Please! Can anyone help me with this? Which one of these relays controls the headlight retractor motors?

I'm having the same problem as the lights just stopped working? I replaced the relay on the drivers side and nothing happened.Fuse has power but no light movement?

I have read through this forum and very little is written about these problem, even the above post goes unanswered for over a year?

Does anyone understand the lighting system and how to trouble shoot the lighting movement circuit?

Thanks Saxondog

That's great,I have replaced the relay under the hood. And the lights will shine but the retractor motor does nothing. I am grateful for your help.

Thanks Blake
