it will probable be hard since auto transmission will always be changing gears on you depending on how much you put on the gas. example here: 'you are going 20 with auto with gas pushed down 1/2 way, it will be in 2nd gear. if you then floor it, it will shift down to 1st to give you max torque and hp. if you let off the gas completely, it will shift to 3rd to let you cruise at 1000 to 1500 rpm. manual gives you more control over your car

Ya that will work great. just know that if you have low rpm in a gear, it could shift down to give power, but ya if you just shift the 1st-3rd like its a standard, it should work just as good. my automatic only has 1st and 2nd so your a lot better off than I am.

Default my 88 na auto (4spd)

i'd like to mention that we just got (in lancaster PA) like 4 inches of snow. Not only can i drift this thing in the dry, but the snow makes drifting STUPID-FUN!!!!

if you put it in first OR second, she'll do anything you want...

so, if you're cars a bit beat and doesnt make the power it did origionally, find some snow.

the shifter is what you use to go from park to drive, reverse et cetera. it should look like this;

P
N
R
D
2
1

you can put it into first or second manually, but it'll shift to fourth for you.

i dont know about drifting an auto completely
but i had a cadillac catera
v6 200hp auto with overdrive
basically the same as a na supra except for the v6 engine

but i can sway left and right, pendulums
but i find it hard to do sweeps, cuz when i get to the middle of the drift
my cars keeps shifting gears and i lose torque when it gets to 3rd
and i jus either straughten out or i spin out
