You have to 'move' air to have bass.
What I did was remove the cover on the rear speakers on both left & right sides. I removed the easiest speaker, and then soldered speaker wire to each, then replaced them back into position. With the long speaker wires on each side, I now had options for ADDING speakers. I opted for some of those cheap 300watt multi speaker cabinets (grey carpeted)from Pepboys, Kragen, Walmart, etc. 12", 8", 6", with tweeters. My 200 watt CD player drives them pretty good, enough for me. I listen to the latest country/rock, old rock (ozzy, stones, zeplin, the boss, etc, etc), and reggae (marley, UB40, yellowman, etc, etc). For rap and heavy hip-hop, you will want to run thru an amp first.
