all you need is to remove factory and get a dash pocket for the specific year. Its like 20 bucks

i bought this little plastice housing at best buy for 20 bux because my 89 came with nothing in the stereo compartment. My brother helped me out but we didnt need to cut the rubber part out, it comes with a little manual on how to fit it into a supra, we messed up a little cuz it was kinda dark but it ended up looking pretty badass.

Exactly. Wal-Mart is where is found the cheapest install kit as well as the wiring harness. Piece of cake once you get that big front piece off that holds everything in. Make's it a bit harder to try to steal the radio. I know....someone tried and couldn't get it out. Ha, ha.
You shouldn't have to cut anything. |

Just to clarify, on most Toyotas if the vehicle is equipped with a "premium sound package" wiring will be more difficult. Typically the head unit receives power from the amp and the speaker wiring is routed through the amp as well.
