i enjoyed the kenwood systems i've bought. 3 kenwood receivers (all in different cars) 1 alpine, 2 pioneer and 1 sony. my favorite combo is the kenwood deck & equalizer with rockford fosgate amps.

Alpine for HU..the new stuff aint great

but for subs/amps/speakers..theres a lot better than JL/alpine/RF....

XTANT/DIAMONDAUDIO/ECLIPSE/MB QUART/DD AUDIO/MEMPHIS/FOCAL/IMAGE DYNAMICS/ORION/BOSTON/RE/CDT/SOUNDSTREAM/

and im missing a lot fromt hat lsit.....

this is coming from a guy that works at an authorized dealer for ALPINE/SONY/JVC/PIONEER/ULTIMATE/ROCKFORD/KICKER

they all make good stuff but theres much better....depending on what line of stuff you buy fromt hose brands etc

Default Ipod

Hell in my car you need to be able to crank up the volume as the noise coming from my exhaust is load "its awesome" I don’t really know if I want to overcome that.

Saying all that, what is the best Ipod interface out there Alpine or Kenwood?

Default Speakers

This the best setup that i can think for you ,for a headunit pioneer makes the best in the business e.i. the AVIC-N1,, for component speakers , but warning you, better jus use them with an amp and only only use them in high-pass mode and in stereo, you can achive this with a 4 channel amp,, use the alpine speakers , preferably the type r or type e,, and for your subs MTX has the most durable subs out choose the ones with the metal cones since they produce one of the best sounds in the bussiness, this setup is for somebody that wants sum boom in thier car but is on a budget,,
since the only expensive thing on this list is the AVIC-N1 but trust me the bragging rights is worth it

one again

head unit : pioneer avic-n1

component speakers : alpine type r or e

subs : mtx
