A very VERY kind member emailed me with some information. He had the same exact problem with his Supra and he said that one of the injectors was squirting WAY too much fuel which flushed or washed the oil out causing the cylinder to run dry. This lead to overheating which causes the piston to expand which eventually started siezing and cause the motor to shut off. This is exactly what happens to my Supra. It runs, it warms up, then it shuts off... it seems like a likely possibility that it could be one of the injectors. I never had them checked.

As of now the car still stands at $2800 but I am having the shop look at this Monday morning and test the fuel injectors. If this solves the problem I am either A.) Keeping the car or B.) raising the price a little because it will be road ready.

I ultimately would still like to get a focus zx3 for gas and hauling my equipment. Thats really the only reason I am selling this supra in the first place.

I just thought I'd let you guys know!
