i have a mk3 turbo and every time i have to turn on my car it starts but it sounds like a subaru and it starts to throw white smoke and it smells like anifreeze then it just goes away whats wrong with it

my engine is starting but i have to kee on the gas so it wont just shut down. but after like 10 seconds it idles up and down then just shuts down. idk if it can be the knock sensor.

i need help with this please!!!!!!! i have an 89 supra that keeps stalling on me on start up. can't do anything, need to get it running again, very frustrating.....
