Does anyone know what driveshafts are interchangable with a 1985 Supra AT? The service manual states that when the u joints are worn you have to replace the driveshaft, is this actually the case?

Wow, seems like you SHOULD be able to replace the u-joint!! I have both shafts from a 1984 MANUAL car. Front probably does not fit, rear?? If someone can confir fit, let me know and I will sell reasonably. Dale

well if the ujoint is removable then yes, start searching for new or used u joints.
otherwise, it would probly be really easy to find another entire use DS from another automatic.

You should try to find a complete driveshaft from an auto and mark where they meet as they are factory balanced. I sold a maual swap to a guy in Honolulu, so I know he's got auto stuff available. You can email me if you want.
