Same thing actually happened to me, had a clogged core and after i flushed it out it started leaking however was a much smaller leak, replaced the core. Afterwards still no heat, had to switch around the vacumm on the heater vsv to where it opens no matter what soon as i start the car.

Another pain is getting that coolant out of the floor board, i thought i had a leak still after i replaced the core, turned out it was all just from the orignal leak. Coolant is a pain to get outa the floor board, i left a shop vac on it for hours lol
