hey welcome to the forum

there are two options for turbocharging your car

you can do the na/t conversion which utilises the n/a block or you can swap in a whole gte motor

by doing the na/t conversion you can keep the stock vvti (not actually our one but same thing) so you have the turbocharger + vvti which i imagine could be a whole lotta fun

by doing the 7mgte swap you will need a complete motor, wiring loom (the wiring loom you get will need to suit the year motor you are getting.. 87-88 yellow plug, 89-92 grey plug... make sure the loom and ecu are from the same colour
also if you get an engine that is earlier or later than the ecu and wiring loom you have you will find a few of the sensors will have slightly different plugs like the ecu temp sensor and possibly cold start sensor from memory... it might be easier to guarantee your swap that you get a whole conversion from one car
