anywayz for those that read this in future here was my response

the twin turbos came on two of them... the 2.5 ltr and the 2.0 ltr
the 2.0 in 86-88 had 185hp
the 2.0 in 89-92 had 200hp
the 2.5 from 90-92 came with 280hp
if it is indeed an 89 then i would say that it is a 2.0ltr 1GGTE
the 3.0 is a 7MGTE which had 230hp
